A year after a
series of bleach-balloon attacks at UT Austin, last week, a black student
reported being hit with a balloon filled with bleach on West Campus. (Full Report- Houston Chronicle)
The attack comes
after several students were hit with bleach-filled balloons last October in
West Campus apartment complexes. The University
and student body are obviously upset. The
investigations into last fall’s attacks was suspended due to lack of
evidence. A new Austin Police Detective
has been put on the case. APD has set
asked anyone who has faced similar attacks to come forward. Anyone with any information should call the
