Greenacres, Florida is not the place to be. But it is back in the news. First there
was the guy who decapitated his roommate and said “things just got a little out
of hand” in the understatement of the year.

Now, in a decidedly less macabre crime, a kid
with a name which was sure to lead to a life of crime, Jesse James Dillen
(seriously, he was named after two notorious killers, Jesse James and Dillon),
jumped an old man in a Walmart parking lot, stole his wallet, and then got a
ride home from his mom.

The Palm Beach Post reports that: Arthur E. Nieding, 78, told police he was
about to open his car door after shopping at the Walmart on Greenacres Plaza
when Dillen ran up behind him, pushed him into the vehicle and took his wallet.
Nieding told police he had $40 in his wallet plus assorted credit and medical
cards.
Surveillance
video from the Walmart shows a man exiting a white Kia SUV at approximately
11:32 a.m. then striking Nieding and fleeing towards a Starbucks at the south
end of the plaza.
Police
caught up to the mom, who said she had just been out of the house once that
day, but after being accused of lying to police, Negron said she had dropped her
son off at Walmart then went to the Starbucks. She said Dillen ran up to her
and said he had robbed Nieding then got into the car holding Nieding’s wallet
in his hand.
Now Jesse James Dillen is in
jail. The mom has not been charged. Stay
classy Greenacres.
