All-Star Florida Drunk Driver Slams into Police Cruiser Four Times

How many times is too many times to slam into the back of a parked police cruiser?  One.  That happens.  It happens when the cruiser is parked on the shoulder, as we noted in an earlier post about Louisiana. Leave it to Florida to go with the gusto typical of that great state.

Police say that a 40-year old was drunk, lost control of his car on the northeast side of Miami and slammed through a fence. Thenhe went into a driveway and a police officer blocked him in.  This being an all-star Floridian, he didn’t run away or throw a baby at the officer to make a getaway (prior coverage of All-Star Floridians)

to make a getaway.  He threw it in reverse and smashed his car into the police cruiser.  When that failed, he went with serious gusto and did it again and again and again.

The officer showed remarkable restraint in getting him out at gunpoint and not back-handing him for being so stupid, dangerous and obnoxious.

He may got into the Hall of Florida Fame.
