Stranger than Fiction: Russian Edition 1

The BBC Reports  that a Russian doctor is in custody for taking, and presumably using, heroin removed from the stomach of a drug mule (human, not animal).  The drug trafficker (mule) was taken off a train in Siberia, looking ill.  Police had information that he was transporting drugs in his stomach. Heroin was removed by a surgeon, who himself had been investigated for illegal possession of drugs in the past.  Some of the drugs same up missing.  The surgeon was high. The surgeon is in custody.  Not shrewd.  To paraphrase Rick James, “[Heroin] is a powerful drug.”
