Stranger than Fiction: Pet Crime Edition 1

Abused Donkey Gets Tailor Made Pants

An abused donkey that was tied up with barbed wire and tormented by children was rescued.  The poor donkey had open wounds that were attacked by flies, so it chewed the flies.  Socks were tried and failed.  Finally, the donkey got a specially made pair of therapeutic trousers and is doing well and looking dapper.  Man Tries to Steal Small Dogs in his Pants, Fails at Crime, Life

A man in Florida took his toddler into a pet store and stuffed a pug into his pants and left.  He returned and did the same thing with a miniature dachshund.  He tried to come back a third time before an employee scared him away.  Surveillance video in the attached article shows the guy coming in and out.  As the article quotes, “They used a kids to steal the dog.  I mean you come here to steal a dog with a kid, that’s insane.”  Indeed.  And he stuffed two dogs, though not at the same time, down his pants.
